My Niece Let Me Dazzle Her Hair!!!

My niece is game for anything having to do with her hair, make-up and nails.  She's a little diva which is why I love when she comes over.  My daughter likes to play dress up too but she has limits, my niece has no limits, she'll let me do just about anything no matter how dramatic it is :)  Today we took some of these Hello Kitty themed party confetti and used some eyelash glue to stick them to her hair.  I did the top and that wasn't good enough for her, she wanted it all over!  I feel bad for my cousin (her mother) who has to take them all out and shampoo her hair!

Home From Vegas!

Hi guys!  I returned home from my Vegas trip this morning.  I wanted to blog and vlog every day on my trip but it wasn't so easy to do it.  I should have researched easier ways to vlog from my iphone.  I watch some of these Youtube vloggers and they vlog straight from their iphones.  My plan was to video from my phone and upload it straight to youtube and link it here.  Well as it turns out, it takes forever to upload the video from my iphone and it was killing my battery.  It was just taking too much time away from all the fun I was having.

We arrived on Wednesday afternoon and after checking into our room at the California hotel (where we always stay) we ate at Aloha Specialties.  This is one of my favorite local Hawaiian food restaurants, they make better local food than more than half the places on the island.  My favorites are the Garlic Chicken with Gravy and the Tripe Stew.

The next morning we headed to Circus Circus for a day of fun in the Adventure Dome (you can see my earlier post on that).  That night we ate at Main Street Station Buffet.  It was Thursday night Steak and Scampi. 

Friday morning we did a little shopping, some gambling and then had dinner at Serendipity 3 (you can see an earlier blog on this as well).  After dinner we headed over to the Ceasars Palace do admire all of the statues. 

Saturday and Sunday we were at the park all day for my son's Memorial Day Baseball Tournament.  They won 2 games and lost 2. 

Yesterday was our last day in Vegas so I wanted to make sure that I ended it on a good note for my kids so we headed back over to Circus Circus and then dinner at The Olive Garden. 

I'm glad to be back home. 

Serendipity3 at Ceasar's Palace

Last night we ate at Serendipity3 at Ceasars Palace. My daughter and I shared the White Chocolate Frozen Hot Chocolate... Soooo yummy! I had the crab artichoke dip as my starter and the portobello mushroom burger as my meal.

First full day in Vegas

Hi guys! Last night I arrived in Vegas. We were all tired from the flight so we had dinner, I threw $50 in the casino & got to bed early. This morning we headed out to Circus Circus, ate their buffet and are now in the Adventure Dome! This place is pretty cool!

Loving My Carlos Santana Handbag

Look at my new bag!  I love purses.  A lot of people who are purse freaks have a lot of expensive brands like coach, Louis Vuitton, etc.  Not me, I like to have a lot of reasonably priced shiny handbags.  My favorite handbag designer is Kathy Van Zealand, I've been buying her purses from Macy's for years.  I buy most of my purses from Macy's, I especially love when they are on sale, with an additional 30% discount.  I also love to shop at Ross', where I am able to find really nice purses at great discounted prices.  I found this Carlos Santana bag at Ross for $35.  It is so cute, I love it. I's very rock and roll like the man himself, and check out that logo with the guitar!

Viva Las Vegas!!!!

Hi guys in just 3 days I will be off to my favorite vacation destination....Vegas Baby!  This trip is more of a family trip, as I will be going for my son's baseball tournament.  Some of my best memories with my friend are of us in Vegas.  My dreams are to travel the world, but with 3 kids and little money, Vegas provides me with a little taste of everywhere.  I love sight seeing in Vegas, going into all their hotels and seeing all the beautiful architecture and detail that goes along with the theme of each hotel.  I want to share my trip with you all, so I will be doing some Vlog-ing and Blog-ing while I'm up there.  I will be uploading videos straight to my site.  I've never Vlog-ed before so I'm really excited about it.  The countdown is on!!! Yay!

Kiwami Ramen Waikiki

On my lunch break I decided to have some ramen at this little Japanese restaurant.  I love Japanese restaurants, they're clean, fast and the food always tastes like it was made with love.  Today I had the Ume-Shio Tsukemen, which is a dip noodle.  The broth is a mild salt base with pork and ume (pickled plum).  As a starter I was brought some char siu rice which was really good.  My bill came out to $10 including tip, not bad for Waikiki.
